Asset Sustainability, Improvement and Decarbonisation Framework
AI Summary
Eastern Procurement Ltd. is launching a new Asset Sustainability, Improvement and Decarbonisation Framework to support its network of registered Social Housing Providers and Stock‑Holding Local Authorities across key regions of England. The framework is designed to supply a coordinated set of services and works that will enhance the operational performance, safety and environmental footprint of members’ housing portfolios. The procurement will cover a broad range of construction, refurbishment and advisory activities that can be applied to both domestic and commercial properties.
The framework will encompass kitchen and bathroom installations, disabled adaptation works, comprehensive electrical rewiring, repointing and other masonry services, insulation works—including roof, external wall, cavity wall and heating pipe insulation as well as draught proofing—estate improvement projects, and a suite of decarbonisation activities such as building energy management, lighting upgrades, renewable energy installations, glazing and heating improvements, all of which may qualify for grant funding. Additional items include day‑to‑day and back‑log repairs, structural works, project management services for managing contracted suppliers, internal and external decorating, grant‑bidding support, retrofit assessment and coordination, and fire safety works. The framework is intended to be fit‑for‑purpose, reflecting current market capabilities and member requirements as identified through a preliminary market engagement exercise.
All participating suppliers should prepare to deliver work in accordance with UK building regulations and relevant sustainability standards, including BREEAM compliance.
