Construction of 15(Fifteen) Storied Male Hostel Building with 15 (Fifteen) Storied Foundation at Chattogram Medical College in Chattogram.

The Health Engineering Department (HED) Head Office, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is seeking construction services for a new 15-story male hostel building. The project scope encompasses the complete construction of the 15-story hostel structure, including the foundation. This entails all associated works such as foundation construction, structural work using reinforced concrete frame (RCC) and pile foundation, finishing, electrical installations, plumbing, and other necessary components for a functional building.

To be eligible for consideration, bidders must meet specific requirements. These include a minimum of 10 years of general experience as a Prime Contractor, Subcontractor, or Management Contractor, with demonstrable experience in completing at least one multi-story building (minimum 8 stories) featuring an RCC frame structure and pile foundation valued at Tk. 4500 lac under public funds within the last 5 years. Furthermore, bidders must possess an ABC Electrical License, either individually or through a partner in a Joint Venture/Consortium Agreement.

Additional eligibility criteria include a minimum average annual construction turnover of Tk. 5300 lac over the last 5 years (considering only public sector projects), minimum liquid assets of Tk. 1200 lac (working capital or credit facilities), and a minimum tender capacity of Tk. 6600 lac.
