Corrigendum-Kings Langley Cleaning Tender

AI Summary

Kings Langley School in Hertfordshire is seeking a professional cleaning partner to provide comprehensive custodial services for its 1,126 students and 125 teaching and support staff from 1 April 2027. The contract will cover all school premises, including administrative offices, and will commence with an initial three‑year term, with the possibility of a two‑year extension if performance meets agreed terms. Prospective contractors will be invited to submit a two‑stage tender, beginning with a Procurement Specific Questionnaire and proceeding to an Invitation to Tender after shortlisting.

The school requires a proactive and experienced provider capable of evaluating the existing cleaning regime and recommending improvements in staffing, cleaning methods, equipment, and sustainability practices. A successful partner must demonstrate the ability to deliver consistent, high‑standard cleaning, respond reliably to any issues, and achieve audit and key performance indicator targets. The contractor will be expected to provide a credible, guaranteed cost of operation while adhering to TUPE regulations and employing modern equipment and technology to enhance service quality.

Coupled with financial considerations, the selection will focus on quality, presentation, and the ability to fulfil the above obligations, with a final technical requirement that the proposal explicitly meet TUPE compliance and include a guaranteed cost of operation.
