Jobs and Inclusive Growth Centre of Expertise - Technical Assistance Facility

AI Summary

The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office is procuring a Technical Assistance Facility to support the Jobs and Inclusive Growth Centre of Expertise. The facility will provide a range of integrated technical assistance services across the Centre’s thematic priorities, covering evidence‑driven assessment of sectoral, political‑economic and local capability conditions, research and policy advisory to promote inclusive and climate‑aligned reforms, and direct business advisory and investment readiness support for medium and large firms. In addition, the contract will deliver activities that build investment pipelines and investor match‑making, foster local advisory networks and service provider partnerships, and facilitate market linkages between anchor firms, investors and UK expertise to expand export opportunities and support UK interests within middle‑ and lower‑income economies.

The engagement will span an initial 4½‑year period with options for extension and scaling, delivering support at both deep and targeted levels and incorporating a learning and evidence function that monitors, reviews and informs the effectiveness of the overall program. Applicants may act as prime or subcontractor and will participate in an early market engagement event to refine the design and scope of the procurement. The contractor must provide evidence‑based, policy‑aligned technical assistance, including capacity building for industrial planning and public‑private dialogue, to meet the stated objectives.
