Market Engagement Event - Framework for the Provision of Inclusion Services
AI Summary
Swansea Council is conducting a virtual market engagement event to develop a new framework for the provision of inclusive services that extend beyond what is normally available within maintained schools. The framework will cover educational, vocational, therapeutic, engagement and wellbeing services for children and young people who have experienced disrupted schooling, anxiety, trauma, exclusion or other barriers to learning, and will replace the existing EOTAS framework. The event will invite both established and emerging providers to discuss how they can deliver safe, learner‑centred support that promotes inclusion, participation, early intervention, partnership working, and high‑quality curriculum pathways, while maintaining flexible learning opportunities that keep young people connected to education and prepare them for post‑16 progress.
The council seeks providers who can demonstrate a commitment to inclusion, learner engagement, belonging and wellbeing, and who are prepared to work collaboratively with schools, local authority inclusion services and other authorised council services. By participating in the engagement, providers will help shape the procurement approach and inform future tender documents, although participation is not mandatory for any subsequent contracts. All services must be safe, quality‑assured and consistent with the Council’s inclusion standards.
