INVITATION TO SUBMIT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR THE PROJECT:
PURCHASE OF FIREWORKS FOR MUNICIPAL CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION 2026 GRAND FIREWORKS DISPLAY
1. The Local Government Unit of Gubat, through its General Fund intends to apply the sum of Three Hundred Thousand Pesos (₱300,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Purchase of Fireworks for Municipal Christmas Celebration 2026 Grand Fireworks Display/PR10-1290. Quotation received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at opening of the Request for Quotation.
2. The Local Government Unit of Gubat now invites suppliers to submit price quotations for the above project. Delivery of the goods shall be made on the scheduled date of the event, as determined by the End-User after issuance of the Notice to Proceed, for safety and security purposes
3. Interested SUPPLIERS may obtain or acquired further information from Local Government Unit of Gubat and inspect the Request for Quotation at the address given below from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays.
Eligibility Requirements:
The contract shall be awarded only to an eligible supplier with updated copies of:
• Registration Certificate (SEC, CDA, DTI)
• Mayor’s/Business Permit
• PhilGEPS Platinum Certificate or PhilGEPS Registration (Red)
• BIR Form 2303 (Photocopy)
• Other permits and licenses (if applicable)
4. Submission of RFQ is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA 5183.
5. Request for Quotation must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat at the address below from October 27, 2026 - November 3, 2026.
6. Opening of the Request for Quotation shall be on November 3, 2026, 8:30 am at BAC Office, 2nd Floor Municipal Building B, Municipal Compound, Manook Street, Gubat, Sorsogon.
7. The Local Government Unit of Gubat reserves the right to reject any and all RFQ’s, declare a failure of opening of the Request for Quotation, or not award the contract/PO at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section 64 of RA 12009 and its IRR, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected supplier/s.
