REC Benchmarking for Sustainable Development of Ecotourism Sites in the Province of Bohol

AI Summary

The Department of Tourism – Region IV is procuring benchmarking services for the sustainable development of ecotourism sites in the Province of Bohol. The program seeks to enable local government units, tourism stakeholders, and REC members to observe and learn from proven ecotourism initiatives, planning models, conservation practices, and community‑based tourism frameworks that have been successfully implemented in Bohol. By conducting a focused benchmarking visit from 9–12 November 2026, the exercise aims to enhance knowledge and competencies in sustainable ecotourism management, highlight innovative approaches to biodiversity conservation, foster collaboration among stakeholders, and identify adaptable strategies for promotion and development in participants’ respective localities.

To facilitate this benchmarking activity, the contracting entity requires comprehensive tour arrangement services that encompass ground handling, Meals, Accommodation, Tour Activities, Ground Transportation, Tour Kits, and Branding Materials. These services must be coordinated to manage the logistics for 29 participants, ensuring seamless travel and onsite experiences during the benchmarking itinerary across Bohol’s ecotourism destinations.

Applicants must be Department of Tourism accredited, registered on PhilGEPS, and willing to provide services under a send‑bill arrangement, with no rebooking or cancellation fees and no additional charges for itinerary adjustments.
