In addition to the reagents, the awardee must provide a heavy‑duty, fully automated floor‑type integrated chemistry‑immunology analyzer free of charge, along with one backup chemistry analyzer and one backup immunoassay analyzer at no extra cost. The systems must be fully automated, process serum, plasma, urine, and selected body fluids, support both spectrophotometric and chemiluminescent methods, and achieve a minimum throughput of 800 chemistry tests per hour and 100 immunoassay tests per hour. Each unit must be compatible with the hospital’s LIS/HIS, include all necessary computer hardware, software, and UPS/AVR power protection, and fit within specified dimensions. The contractor shall install, commission, and integrate the analyzers, provide validation, preventive maintenance, and prompt technical support, and supply consumables and cleaning agents at no charge.
All supplied reagents and equipment must be FDA registered, have current certificates of product registration or equivalent, and must meet the laboratory’s validated performance specifications and total analytical error criteria. All performance verifications, line ality, precision, and bias checks shall be performed under manufacturer guidelines and laboratory-established criteria. The contractor must also be an authorized distributor of the manufacturer’s products and possess service capability within the Philippines. All technical requirements are summarized below, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
