Supply and Delivery of Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometer for Animal Feed Samples and Feed Premixes
AI Summary
The Bureau of Animal Industry seeks to acquire a flame atomic absorption spectrometer for the routine analysis of animal feed samples and premixes. The instrument will serve to determine trace metal concentrations in feed formulations, ensuring that nutrient profiles meet regulatory safety limits and preventing contamination that could affect animal health. By equipping the laboratory with advanced analytical capability, the Bureau will enhance its quality assurance programs and support compliance with national food safety standards.
The spectrometer must be capable of accurately measuring metallic elements at the low concentration levels typically required for feed analysis. It should feature a flame delivery system suitable for high‑throughput sample processing and include modern control software that facilitates data acquisition, calibration, and record keeping. The instrument shall be compliant with the performance specifications for flame atomic absorption spectrometry as outlined in the procurement documents.
