Vendor Managed Inventory Medical Personal Protective Equipment

The Department of National Defence is inviting industry input on the establishment and ongoing management of a vendor‑managed inventory of medical grade personal protective equipment (PPE). The Canadian Forces Health Services, through its Strategic Medical Countermeasures Program, seeks to create and sustain a strategic stockpile of PPE to support Canadian Armed Forces personnel in both domestic and deployed operations during a pandemic. The procurement aims to ensure that the forces have uninterrupted access to high‑quality protective gear for use in or out of Canada, as well as in any global deployment scenario.

This contract involves the acquisition, storage, and distribution of medical PPE that meets rigorous safety and performance specifications.
